It’s just a week till the second Daisy Chain MTB event of the year, based in Church Stretton, using the same venue as the SCOTT MTB Marathon Series event, the women’s event is on Saturday June 28 with the MTB marathon on Sunday.

There’s a choice of 25 or 40km, both routes going up onto the National Trust owned Longmynd. With its super tracks and splendid views, it’s a great place to ride.

The Daisy Chain events are non competitive, with a friendly atmosphere, the routes are not difficult, and there’s diversions around the singletracks if you require. There’s homemade cake and tea and coffee at the feed stop, so if you like biking and eating cake and possibly a bit of chat on the way round, this is the event for you.

All women who pre-enter will receive a slimfit Buff. So get your entries in by Thursday June 26.
