Last few days to enter the NSPCC Tour of the South East

The final countdown to the closing date for entries of the inaugural NSPCC Tour of the South East has begun and with less than a week to go, there are many reasons to get involved.

These just bolster the already professional feel of the event, with domestiques, soigneurs, motorcycle outriders, mechanics and lead car.

“We have been taken aback by the number of entries given that the series is just in its first year out,” said Organiser, Richard King of Ride2Raise. “This will give us a good platform for growth over the coming years as the NSPCC Tour of England series develops. There is still time to get signed up, but hurry as closing dates are approaching.”

However, if one week isn’t enough time to decide, don’t worry you have more time to enter the second event in the series – The NSPCC Tour of Yorkshire. This two-day sportive is held on the weekend of July 19-20 in the region which, in July will be the hub of cycling in the UK with the start of the Tour de France.

The NSPCC Tour of Yorkshire route, like the NSPCC Tour of the South East event is designed by experienced event director, James Kemp. James has previously worked on many high-profile cycling events including the London Olympic Games and also the UK’s biggest mass participation cycling event, RideLondon.

It also includes a spectacular Yellow Jersey Dinner and all the highlights of the first event such as timed hill climbs, optional closed circuit racing, putting you are the heart of the action.

The NSPCC Tour of Yorkshire’s closing date is Friday 20 June, so you still have plenty of time to enter, although entries are filling up fast.
