The Open Wheel organisers have picked, tested and tested again the soup that they will be serving at their famous feed station in Horton-in-Ribblesdale at the West Riding Classic this April.

Soup of the day? Squash laksa soup with chilli, ginger and coconut. The organisers believe the combination of spice, heat and butternut squash in this Malaysian style soup will help all the riders finish and enjoy the second half of the ride.

Other changes revolve around a change of the timing provider for this year's ride. HS Sports will be timing this year’s event, with the added benefit of the riders receiving a post-ride text with their ride time.
