Location: Stadium MK, Milton Keynes

London to Paris has been done, Milton Keynes to Paris and back is something new, a challenge which is worthy of your support. For 2014 we start at MK Dons Stadium before heading to Paris via Le Harve…

Each rider will cover on average 100 miles per day and climb over 4000 meters over 5 Days! Yes that's 500 miles over 5 days to add to your 2014 total, how many more will you cover in 2014?

We show you the nicest and most memorable route from Milton Keynes to Paris and back, all backed by our support crew and feed stations. You will be staying in a secure and comfortable hotel while in France and most importantly this will be your trip to remember!

How fit do need to be?

This cycle challenge has been designed to be challenging, but achievable by anyone as long as you train beforehand. Remember, you are cycling for 5 consecutive days, for up to 8 / 10 hours per day. This is a challenge so the fitter you are the more you will enjoy it. Cycling training tips can be found on You Tube as well as the British Cycling website.

Do I need specialist kit?

We will supply you with a kit list of what to take once you register to take part.

Do I have to carry my own luggage?

No – this is transported for you each day and not accessible. A small day pack will be accessible during the ride only. We suggest this day pack carries clothing (waterproofs etc), snack food, camera, spares plus other items you may need during the day.

What’s not included?

Accommodation the night prior to the event, breakfast day 1, evening meal day 5, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, tips for crew, bicycle hire, bicycle insurance and travel insurance, spare parts for bikes. Please bring only the essentials.

What happens if I get tired?

There will be regular rest stops for drinks and snacks there is no problem if you need to take more rest stops. A support vehicle will be bringing up the rear of the group on the cycle ride ensuring no-one is left alone – remember though, this is not a race!

How do I go about raising the sponsorship?

Once you have signed up we'd like you to raise £250 for the Carers Trust, although is open so you can choose your preferred charity.
