Last chance to join the troop, online entry closes for The Great Gorilla Ride on Thursday 12 September.

The Great Gorilla Ride will be taking place on Saturday 14th September starting from Gorilla Firm Cycling in Oundle, Northamptonshire.

This is more than just a cycle sportive! Bring your families and friends along and they can take part in activities such as a climbing wall, kayaking and canoeing before joining you after the event at the Nene Valley Brewery for live music and a few beers.

The Great Gorilla Ride consists of three fantastic routes through some of England’s most picturesque countryside, set to challenge all abilities and one not to miss!

  • Long Route: 104 miles (elevation 6400ft +)
  • Middle Route: 69 miles (elevation 4500ft+)
  • Short Route: 42 miles (elevation 2300ft+)

Starting and finishing in the market town of Oundle in Northamptonshire and riding through parts of Rutland and Leicestershire, the routes take you up and down some of the three counties most challenging climbs and descents.

All routes are fully signed with on route mechanical support and well stocked feed stations along the way. Each rider will be provided with a timing chip and will receive a hot meal and a well deserved free pint from Nene Valley Brewery on return.
