On the 15 September cyclists will take to the streets of Kingston for Surrey's newest sportive, The Tiffin Wheeler.

Presented by 2Boats Events, a cycling events company based locally in Putney, who are known for their successful multiday ride, the halow 250, the Tiffin Wheeler will start from Tiffin Boys School Kingston, with proceeds going to TIPRA (Tiffin Parent Rugby Association) and Tiffin school sports.

The Tiffin Wheeler aims to encourage fun social cycling for all ages and abilities, with three route choices, The Fun 25, The Standard 60 and The Epic 90. The Tiffin Wheeler is focused on providing a more personal, well organised, and social service to riders. Organisers are particularly dedicated to getting more young people and women of all ages involved in cycling, their previous event saw a 25% increase in female participants in a year and they are aiming to keep working on this.

The 60 and 90 mile route head out of Kingston on quiet road towards Cranleigh though the picturesque towns of Cobham, Ockham and Chilworth finally arriving in Cranleigh where they split.

The 90 miler heads right through Ewhurst and towards Effingham and includes the famous Leith Hill before heading back down through the winding roads of Ranmore Common joining the 60 mile route on the famous climb out of Cranleigh up the leg burning Copse Hill and Combe Lane where the ride starts heading back to Kingston via West Byfleet and Hersham.

Other highlights of the route include, Coldharbour Lane, Hound House Lane, Hungry Hill Lane and White Down Lane. Both routes encompass everything you expect from a sportive in the famous Surrey Hills; amazing views, picturesque villages and great riding roads.

The Fun 25 is a great way for all the family to enjoy cycling with an easy route on quiet roads around Hersham and Walton on Thames finishing through the famous Bushy Park and then heading back to Kingston. This route ensures a fun relaxed introduction to cycling with enough challenge to get your legs working adequately whilst enjoying the scenery.
