Wiggle Super Series aims to make 2012 your best ever cycling year!
UK Cycling Events believes the 2012 Wiggle Super Series has an event (or two) for everyone to get back on their bikes after the Christmas and winter excesses! The Wiggle Super Series exciting line-up of events looks bigger and better than ever with some exciting new additions. A total of 22 events are due to take place; Road Sportives and MTB events, which are sure to appeal to riders of all ages and abilities. Of the 16 Road Sportives on offer, 4 of our favourites are:
Wight Ferry Sportive
Last year's sell out three-part ‘Wight Ferry Sportive’ , has expanded to two days to cope with the huge demand seen in 2011. This unique sportive which will start in the New Forest National Park then involve a ferry trip over to the Isle of Wight, where riders will enjoy a clockwise route around the island before jumping back on board the ferry for the ride back in the New Forest. This event sold out 4 months before the event in 2011. It is set to be one of the hottest tickets in town again. Check out last Year’s Video Here.
New Forest Spring Sportive
The Wiggle New Forest Spring Sportive has expanded its capacity as it sold out last year. If you want a big early season sportive this is one for you. Why not ride in the stunning New Forest National Park with 2600 like minded riders! Check out last Year’s Video here.
Jurassic Beast Sportive
Can you tame the BEAST???? For those looking for a really early season challenge the Wiggle Jurassic Beast should do the trick. This sportive is amongst the most Stunning Sportive in the Country. It is packed with incredible vistas and testing climbs! Check out last Year’s Video here.
Ups & Downs Sportive
1000 riders took part in the 2011 Wiggle Ups & Downs Sportive. This testing sportive starts from the convenient location of Dorking and takes in the very best roads and hills in the North Downs including Leith Hill, Pitch Hill and White Down! Not to be missed... Check out last Year’s Video here.
Martin Barden, of UK Cycling Events, the organiser of the Wiggle Super Series, said: “We’re really excited about the 2012 Wiggle Super Series. This year proved to be a massive success and we saw many riders returning time and time again to take part in our events.”
Season Ticket
Because the 2011 series saw so many repeat customers and the season tickets were so popular, for 2012 the ‘Super Series Season Pass’ will continue. Strictly limited to the first 100 riders to apply, the passes will give riders automatic entry into events at a massively reduced cost.
There is also the Early Bird incentive. Riders who book any event more than 8 weeks in advance will receive a free Maxi Fuel Race Pack full of high quality sports nutrition worth £10.
All events in the series include well stocked feed stations, mechanical support, chip timing, very clearly marked courses, massages, bike wash facilities, finishers’ medals and much more.
