Wiggle Tour of the Peak 2011

Based in the spectacular landscape of the Peak District National Park, there's something for all the family to do, not just an incredible sportive, with plenty of accommodation in the area.

The 64 mile route on the Wiggle Tour of the Peak is aimed at all sportives riders. Sometimes, it's not always about bagging a 100 miles. It's about the content!

Take on the 64 mile route and it'll take you through some of the best parts of the Peak District, up climbs similar to, and as used by the professionals and inter-mix it with some fast, flat and downhill runs; there's a steady 7 mile climb up the Cat 'n' Fiddle road; a steep, dramatic climb up through the limescale pinnacles of Winnats Pass and a 4 mile descent through the Goyt Valley.

Whether you typically ride a 100 or 50 miles, the 64 mile Wiggle Tour of the Peak has it all packed in to an incredible 64 miles. If the 96 mile route option takes your fancy then you'll also head up in to the Dark Peak area and take in the Holme Moss climb which is the highest classified road in Britain, plus some rather good steep ‘n' short climbs on the way!
