Coming Soon: The Severn Bridge Sportive

Sunday 17th October 2010

Starting and finishing at the famous Castle Combe Motor Racing Circuit near Chippenham, the Severn Bridge Sportive promises to be a serious test to any rider and a great way to round of a sportive season. Crossing the South West edge of the Cotswolds before plummeting down into The Severn Valley, heading over the Severn itself and then facing the stiff climbs in the Forest of Dean. The route re-crosses the River Severn via the old Severn, returning to Castle Combe for a distance of just over 100 miles. A shorter route option again takes in the South Western corner of the Cotswolds offering fantastic views over the Severn Valley into South Wales and the Forest of Dean, before crossing the old Severn Bridge taking in a loop in South Wales and then re-crossing the Bridge and heading back to Castle Combe to complete the ride.

Finishing back at Castle Combe, where there is plenty of parking, changing facilities and FREE hot food for every rider, the 2010 Severn Bridge Sportive is sure to be the perfect way to round out your season and all for just £24.50. Entry is strictly limited to 600 - so click here to enter the event now.
