Cheshire Cat Entries Open Soon
KILO TO GO open entries for the 2010 Cheshire Cat cyclosportive on the 1st of November 2009. The UCI accredited Cheshire Cat takes place on Sunday 28th March, the first day of British summertime. The original Cat themed bike-ride is one of the biggest challenge rides in the UK and is recognised as the season opener for many cyclosportive riders.
With 1,650 entry tickets selling out well before the big-day last year the organisers have made changes to safely accommodate more riders for the 2010 version of the event. There is a new South Cheshire event HQ and a revised route with several route/distance options.
KILO TO GO hope the ride will appeal to a wider range of cyclists - from families getting out on their bikes, through to seasoned cyclosportive enthusiasts. The Cheshire Cat's signature climb, which features on the longer route options, is the mighty 25% Mow Cop sitting high on Cheshire's border with the south-west tip of the Pennine chain.
