In its fourth year the Brighton to Brighton Cyclosportive again starts and finishes on Brighton's iconic seafront on Brighton and Hove's Lawns on 28 September 2014.

This year's event has two shorter routes added to the lineup making a total of five great routes on the B2B Cyclosportive to suit riders across a wide range of abilities.

The two new routes have been added to give those riders new to cyclosportives a chance to have a go without blowing a gasket on their first attempt.

The Brighton to Brighton Cyclosportive is raising funds for the Sussex Heart Charity and the two shorter routes are an ideal way to raise awareness and funds for the charity, with prizes for top fund raisers.

With all routes offering outstanding views of the local countryside, event organisers SRS Events are hoping for sunny weather again as they have had in past few years. But whatever the weather, with all routes having a terrain that is mostly flat rolling roads, the B2B routes offer something to really get your teeth into. The routes include a few testing sharp inclines to test each riders fitness.

Those that have ridden this event in the past should be agreeable with the slight changes made to the original routes this year. All routes in 2014 will be a little bit longer but these tweaks have been initiated to give riders an even more enjoyable ride.

SRS Events has also added an extra feed station which will no doubt ensure that some riders will have difficulty in achieving a calorie deficit at the end of the ride. In total there will be five feed stops on the Classic Route!

SRS Events insist that it will assure riders they won’t be forced to eat at every feed stop. Although it might be tempting to power yourself with the usual great spread at SRS Events feed stations it's always a good idea to carry your own food if you’re looking for a fast ride.
