The “Tommo” sportive features some of the very best road riding in the Southern Peak District and the Staffordshire Moorlands. All three routes start and finish from the picturesque Carsington Water near Ashbourne.

  • Long route (125km/2530m of climb) takes in some classic Tour of Britain climbs including Ramshorn, Cromford Hill and the legendary Gun Hill nr Leek - in addition the last 15/20km includes two x 20%+ climbs (Riber Road, Matlock and West End, Wirksworth) just to keep you on your toes to the very end!
  • Medium route (76km/1400m) takes in a good majority of the longer route but mainly all within the Peak National Park including a trip into Dovedale with the challenge of Cromford Hill and West End Wirksworth towards the end.
  • Short route (45km/740m) does a very scenic Peakland circuit via Ashbourne and the delightful villages of Thorpe and Tissington.

With the three fantastic routes on offer it should suit and challenge everybody of all fitness levels.
