TT: Doyle cruises to West Lothian 25 win

Arthur Doyle (Dooleys Cycles) cruised to victory in the West Lothian Clarion Open 25-mile Time Trial in a time of 55 minutes 42 beating team-mate Andrew Torrance by 19 seconds.

Barry McGurk (Glasgow RC) finished third 29 seconds behind the winner with Gerry McGaritty picked up the best veteran prize in fourth place.

Lynne Wardrop (Ayr Roads CC) finished best woman in a time of 1:05:02 ahead of Valerie Martin (Dooleys Cycles) in second and Katherine Wren (Stirling Bike Club) in third.

The best youth rider was Robert Tree (Deeside Thistle CC) in 1:02:50.
