TT: Blake takes win in Caithness CC 25

Ross-Shire Roads CC rider Henry Blake took victory in the Caithness CC 25-mile time trial staged as part of a weekend double-header by Caithness CC at Thurso in Scotland on Saturday.

He clocked 58-45 to take the win by 20 seconds in far from ideal conditions, while Cairngorm CC’s Charles Fletcher and Caithness CC’s Andrew Macleod were both riding their first 25-mile TTs but still managed second and third respectively.

Forres CC’s Dave Harter was fastest veteran, while Alasdair Washington (Caithness CC) was best on standard. Finally, the promoting club’s Lorna Stanger was best of the females with 1-08-45.
