Road: Neil Walker wins Cronberry Classic

Neil Walker of Walkers Cycling Club rode to victory in the 17-mile Cronberry Classic, organised by Loudoun Road Club.

The 34-year-old Ayrshire rider had opened up a gap of 18 seconds over second placed Michael Robb (Ayr Roads Cycling Club) by the end of the race.

John Paterson (Classic Racing Team) finished third and the fastest youth was Matthias Barnet of Chryston Wheelers, finishing in 18th place overall.

The fastest lady was Catherine Logan of Walkers Cycling Club. The 46-year-old finished in 21st place overall.
