West Lothian Clarion are adding a kids GoRide (ages 6-11) hill climb to accompany the adult race at Kingscavil, near Linlithgow on Sunday 17th October.

Matthew Ball, organiser of the Kid's race said "This is a unique opportunity for children to race on the road in a traffic free environment, we're hoping it'll encourage parents to bring their kids and let them experience racing with a big crowd to cheer them on"

The club is hoping for a big turn out again, in 2009 competitors travelled from as far afield as Lancashire and the Scottish Borders. Organisers want to encourage an enthusiastic crowd, complete with bells, horns, whistles, banners and cheers to add to the bag piper who'll be playing at the top of the hill.

KIDS EVENT
The kids hill climb will use the easier climb on the north side of the valley.
It will cost just £1 and and competitors are asked to register beforehand with a maximum of 45 entries
