Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland ‘gear' up for their first national conference!
The conference is taking place on Thursday 28th October 2010, at Perth Concert Hall.
Scottish cycling star Mark Beaumont - The Man Who Cycled the World, sponsored by Capita Symonds, Architrail & Dinsdale Moorland Services and Shona Robison: inister for Public Health and Sport in Scotland and Lesley McKenna, Double Olympic snowboarder announced as keynote speakers for the event.
The conference aims to inform, inspire and energise Local Authorities, businesses, community groups, public bodies, charities and the mountain biking community to be involved in the process of developing mountain biking ensuring this popular activity reach its full potential.
The event will be planned to allow a two-way flow of information. From the successes already achieved by the implementation of the national mountain biking strategic framework and of opinions and ideas from the delegates as to how the project should move forward over the next couple of years.
