After a two year hiatus, the Scottish Cycling Conference and Awards will return in a new format, a bumper day of celebrating all things cycling.
Taking place at Hampden Park, Scotland’s National Football Stadium, on Saturday 26th November, we are delighted to bring all corners of our cycling community back together for the first time in over two years.
The new-look event will see the Scottish Cycling Conference take place during the day, incorporating our AGM, whilst in the evening we will celebrate with a formal Awards Ceremony.
The glitz and glamour ceremony, supported by Digby Brown, will celebrate the success of everyone in our community over the past 12 months; from Commonwealth Games medallists to community heroes, it’s a night not to be missed.
The conference agenda is already taking shape, with the launch of our new Events Strategy, a look ahead to the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships and an opportunity to feedback on the overall Scottish Cycling strategy, which is currently undergoing a refresh as we enter a new four year funding cycle with sportscotland.
Additionally, there will be a range of workshops and breakout sessions throughout the day, which will provide opportunities for different groups of volunteers to come together to share best practice and further their knowledge. There will also be an exciting keynote speaker – more details to follow.
Conference bookings will open during the week commencing 19th September, with tickets for the Awards Ceremony going on sale at the same time. Full event details will be available at this point, but we promise, this is a day not to be missed, so mark it in your diary.
