The Next Generation Track Cycling

Apeldoorn  | 17th - 19th January

Scottish Cycling will be heading to Apeldoorn in the Netherlands with four development riders for the 'Next Generation' track cycling event. This is an opportunity for the riders to be exposed international level track racing, helping to develop their race craft and tactics. Over the three days of racing the junior men will compete across both timed and bunch events including team pursuit, kilo TT, points and madison. This competition is an important development opportunity for them which will challenge them physically, tactically and organisationally off the bike. 

UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup

France | Sunday 19th January

The 2019–20 Telenet UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup is a season long cyclo-cross competition, organised by the UCI. Scottish rider Cameron Mason will be competing in the u23 category in Nommay, France this weekend. Cameron has had a great season racing these events and continues to deliver results.

Kinneil X: Adults Come and Try

Bo'ness | Sunday 19th January

Falkirk Junior Bike Club are running a new open Cyclocross race: Kinneil X. There will be separate races for all age categories, and for boys and girls. Also running will be a Go Cross event for those who have never raced cyclocross before. There will be an introductory coaching session followed by a 30 minute beginners race. A great opportunity for those keen to try racing for the first time.
