UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships
Emmen | 12th - 15th September 2019
The worlds best para-cycling athletes were in Emmen this weekend to compete in the UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships. Two Scottish athletes were racing as part of the Great Brain Cycling Team. Karen Darke took a 7th-place finish in the WH3 race, while Hannah Dines battled to 5th in the WT2 contest on a technical and challenging course.

HSBC British Youth Circuit Series
Brands Hatch 15th September 2019
11 Scottish riders headed down to race at Brand Hatch this weekend at the Revolve24 . In the Youth Boys race, Daniel Kain took the win in the race which was the final of the National Youth Series. Kain bridged across to the break and won the sprint in spectacular fashion. Imani Pereira-James 2nd in the Youth Girls race. This was the last major competition for the 2nd year youth A riders before they move on to predominately road racing next year as juniors.
Watersley Ladies Chellenge
Netherlands | 13th - 15th September 2019
Anna Shackley took third overall at the Nations Cup. She hopes to continue this form as she prepares to race the World Road Race Championships in Yorkshire next week.

3 Peaks Cyclo-Cross
15th September 2019
Scottish cyclo-cross and mountain biking sensation Kerry MacPhee was first female at the 3 Peaks Cyclo-Cross race, fending off touch competition from some of the countries best riders. The 3 Peaks Cyclo-Cross is staged in the Yorkshire Dales National Park every year. It is the toughest and biggest Cyclo-Cross event in the UK. An incredible achivement for Kerry.
