Team Scotland’s cyclists head to Australia for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

After months of hard work and preparation, the Team Scotland riders head to Australia to begin their preparation for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

The Opening Ceremony will take place on April 4 with the track events beginning the very next day.

The team consists of Commonwealth Games champions from Glasgow 2014, Olympic and World Medallists, as well as some breakthrough riders who will be making their Commonwealth Games debut. It’s set to be an exciting two weeks of racing

Commenting on the upcoming games, Jon Doig OBE, Team Scotland Chef de Mission Said:

“I look forward to Team Scotland athletes creating many memorable sporting moments over the next few weeks, being fabulous role models, inspiring all young Scots back at home to get involved in sport and be part of the wider Team Scotland family.
