Cyclist and writer David Reilly from Edinburgh Road Club is conducting a quick survey into the disability Cycling provision within Scotland.

David out on his bike

David has been working alongside Scottish Cycling, Blazing Saddles and Scottish Disability Sport with the aim of providing an accessible signpost or portal for riders trying to access cycling activities in their regions.

It is essential we get as many responses as possible to this survey so the information can truly reflect what is happening within this sector. David would like to hear from traditional cycling groups as well as groups dealing with riders who are either physically disabled or who live with learning disabilities. Even if your club or group don’t currently have disabled members but you consider yourselves accessible please get involved.

The survey is very short and will allow groups with access to modified bikes or with the expertise to lead activities for disabled riders a chance to make their presence count and also possibly access future support.

If you are in or work with a group that caters for disabled riders please join in our survey. Whether that group is exclusively about cycling or offers cycling as part of a multi activity programme we still want to hear from them – we don’t mind hearing from the same groups twice.

By completing this survey you also have the chance to WIN a trike for one lucky group, donated by Quest88 and it will only take you one or two minutes to complete!
