small;">Dave Henderson (GT RACING UK) retained his Scottish MTB title at the ever popular Drumlanrig Castle course fought off a hard challenge from Rab Wardell (Kinesis Morvello) and Gareth Montgomerie (GT racing UK) and Grant Ferguson who had recently return from the World Championships with a fine 4th place. After a fast start by Gareth Montgomerie Henderson took up the challenge pushing the pace on the first lap taking Wardell and Ferguson with him. Into the second lap and Wardell dropped off the pace leaving Henderson and Ferguson to battle it out of for the title. A Couple of Mid race attacks by Ferguson meant a slender gap appeared but Henderson was twice able to bring it back before initialling his own attack on the last lap to pull himself clear for the win.

For Roe this win rounded out the full set of titles having previously won road race, criterium, track and cyclocross Jerseys previously.
