Prolific 15-year-old Lewis Stevens (Strada-Sport) chalked up his fifth win of the season against senior opposition with victory in the feature race at round three of the Suffolk Series in Ipswich.

The Newmarket youngster led home a 71-strong field after an hour of racing on the Trinity Park circuit with 18-year-old Hugo Robinson (Ipswich BC) taking second place for the host club.

Local rider Abbie Thorrington (Team Pedal Power) took her third win of the series in the women’s race in a repeat of the 1-2-3 from the previous round.
