Scoring his second win in six days, Chris Southworth (Leigh Premier RC) led home a three-man break in Sunday’s race for second, third and fourth categories over 24 laps of the Darley Moor circuit.

The 35-year-old, from Macclesfield, added to his midweek Tameside success at the expense of James Notley (Planet X RT) and Tom Black (Cycle Premier-Kovert) with Mike Curtis (BC Private Member) winning the bunch sprint for fourth place ten seconds later.
