The 2020 HSBC UK | National Marathon Championships will be held in Kielder, Northumberland.
The championships, which have been held on the Isle of Man for the last three years, will move to the mainland and take place on August 8.
The event will take place alongside the existing Deadwater 100 race staged by Cold Brew Events in the Forestry England-managed forest, which boasts a wealth of trails tailor-made for challenging riding.
Organiser Barry Kemp said:
“We've been working for years to get big races to the north east on to these amazing trails.
“The national championships will be about 100km, while we’ll also be staging a 100-mile race and a sportive ride for those who want to take things easier. We’re counting down the days until we welcome top riders to our backyard.”
