What kind of riding do you do?
Road mainly, with a little off-road mountain bike
What do you enjoy most about cycling?
Being out in the open air, hill climbing, group riding and social weekend rides.
What’s your favourite ride?
Hilly! I like the challenge of hills and having to pace yourself to get to the top. We spent a weekend in the Apennines in Italy last year with friends, my only foreign ride but it was fantastic climbing Monte Trebbio.
What’s your top cycling tip to share?
Always check your wheels are secure. I've done 20 hills reps before realising the back wheel was loose before!
If you had a tandem, who would you like to ride it with?
Jenson Button. I'm a big fan of Formula One and also follow him on Strava, he's almost as strong as a lot of pro-cyclists.
