What kind of riding do you do?
A 60-mile round trip to work and back when I can, mostly in spring or summer. Also, weekend rides and sportive events with friends.
What do you enjoy most about cycling?
Working 24/7 in logistics can be very stressful! But being out on my bike gives me freedom. No ringing telephones, it's an excellent stress release to clear out all the garbage from my mind. Not forgetting the exercise and new friends I've made!
What’s your favourite ride?
London to Paris in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support was a fantastic experience and I managed to raise over £4000 from cystomers, friends and family for this brilliant charity. However, the Wight Ferry Epic Sportive, which is held in early July each year, is an amazing ride - 95 miles and 5636 feet of climbing around the New Forest and Isle of Wight, a breath-taking ride with stunning scenery.
What’s your top cycling tip to share?
Spending the extra pounds on a pair of decent shorts!
