Were you inspired by the Tour de France? This is an introductory racing event deisgned to build confidence in a friendly environment. The bespoke 1.1 km tarmac circuit is traffic free in a beautiful setting looking across the River Lune towards Lancaster Castle. We are a welcoming club and any bike with a helmet will do. Come and join in!

About the Event
Info for Riders
This event is designed to be a friendly introduction to the exhilaration of cycle racing. Event registeration will start at 11:45 and racing will be 12:15 - 14:00. Racing will be organised via age categories U8 - U16 and will consist of a 'sprint' race (shorter distance) and a 'longer' race; these distances will be set approrpiate to age and the number of riders entered. Refreshments will be available. Entry on the day £2 per rider. All shapes and size of bikes welcome. Helmets must be worn. We do have a fleet of bikes and helmets if you haven't got one - if you need a bike please get in touch at cogset@hotmail.co.uk
