Event Summary

Event Overview

Ibbo's Cake Quest is a fun and friendly local event that raises money for the John Ibbotson fund. We have three signed routes on offer through the Surrey Hills.

Jaffa Cake 60km - A challenging ride for infrequent cyclists with a few hills thrown in at the end. If you can ride for a couple of hours no problem this will be a good ride for you.

Carrot Cake 110km - The most popular of the three routes, the Carrot Cake takes in some tough climbs in the Surrey Hills. This is a nice ride for a fit cyclist who rides regularly. There are two feed stops on route in case you need a bit of dietary assistance.

Fruit Cake 150km - This ride is not to be taken lightly! Former professional Keith Butler devised this brutal route to test even the fittest racing cyclists out there. If you want to ride this one we recommend you set off as soon as possible at 8am to give yourself a good chance of getting round.

Maps and profiles of the routes are all on our website (in the routes section). This year we will not be using electronic timing in order to help the fund raise more money (the timing systems don't come cheap), instead we will have a card check system with which you clock in at the start and finish. We trust you've all ridden the complete distance!
