Tour of Tweeddale Sportive

Cycle Sportive , Scottish Borders – Sunday, 08 Sep 2013

Event Summary

Event Overview

CHANGE OF LONG ROUTE THIS YEAR - a "TON of HILLS".

Tweeddale is widely known for its world class XC tracks and downhill courses, but it also has spectacular and challenging road cycling on mainly quiet roads. The Tour of Tweeddale offers a choice of 3 courses, 50, 70 and 99 miles. They take in pleasant wooded valleys and some high open passes, with views of Megget and Talla Reservoirs and St. Mary's Loch. None are easy, but all make a great day out whether you are there for the scenery or to test your legs. There's no finer place to be on a good day.
