Junior Heffernan Memorial Ride

OnRoad Leisure , Yelverton – Sunday, 17 Mar 2013

Event Summary

Event Overview

Junior was an inspiring 23 year old Elite Cyclist from Yelverton. He tragically lost his life doing something he loved doing on 3rd March 2013 whilst racing the annual Severn Bridge road race.
In memory of Junior a ride will be held on Sunday 17th March starting from Yelverton roundabout car park @ 10am.
The route will then roll out in mass towards Dousland, passing the family home, then proceed onto Burrator Reservoir. The ride will incorporate either 1 or 2 laps of the Burrator depending on how you feel! We will then head back to Yelverton and finish at The Burrator Inn (PL20 6NP) where some light refreshments will be put on for everyone.
Junior’s parents, Bernard and Denise, will be there at the start of the ride and to welcome everyone at the end.

This is an open ride for all friends and family of Junior and fellow cyclist. All abilities welcome.

Any donations towards “The Junior Heffernan Memorial Appeal” will be greatly appreciated. Please use the following link. We will also have collection buckets for any small donations on the day.
