About the Event

Info for Riders

The route starts at Westminster Abbey, up The Mall and Constitution Hill, through Hyde Park to the Grand Union Canal towpath. Then along suburban roads through Harrow-on-the-Hill, Chesham and Great Missenden, up through the Chilterns and down via the Phoenix bike trail toThame. The last leg is a gentle ride along country roads from Thame, via small villages to Islip. The route has been tested on road bikes; there are some challenging climbs, but the ride is also suitable for younger and less experienced riders, recreational cyclists and families. Please note that the Short Route starts at Thame Market Square NOT Westminster Abbey.
