Info for Riders

**Cancelled** The Nutter Challenge is a demanding sportive into some of the best of the Lancashire countryside taking in Pendle and the Forest of Bowland. There are two routes available to chose from, to cater for experienced and enthusiastic sportive participants. Route 1 "The Trough" is a challenging 160km route up to and around Lancaster before heading back. It takes in Pendle Hill, The Trough of Bowland, Jeffrey Hill and the Lune Estuary. Breathtaking scenery is around every bend. Route 2 "The Spellbinder" is just over 100km. After Pendle Hill it is a fast route taking you through the Ribble Valley ready for the climb over Jeffrey Hill. There are water stations en route plus plenty of places to stop off. Back up vehicles patrol the route with sweeper vehicles at the end of the day. The event village facilities include free secure parking on site, showers , toilets and refreshments. Last year's event was a great success and we were even featured on Sky News.
