Ride as many laps as you can of a 2¼ mile closed road circuit through pleasant countryside around Blackmore village in Essex  in 1½ hours. An ideal family event.  

Details of the circuit:  The Green - Chelmsford Road - Spriggs lane - Fingrith Hall Lane - The Green.

All proceeds from the event go to the charity Brainwave

About the Event

Info for Riders

The event is held on roads closed to traffic under the Road Traffic regulation act 1984. Access to all premises for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained during the period of closure There are risks that at any time during the event drivers will ignore road closure signs and marshals and drive onto the course. All entrants must be vigilant at all times on the closed highway. It is the responsibility of the rider or the parents/guardians of entrants under 18 years to ensure that their bicycles are in a roadworthy condition. The event is not suitable for children under 7 years. All riders under 16 years must cycle with their parent or guardian. All entrants are strongly advised to wear an approved cycling safety helmet.
