Wensum Valley Green Lanes

Offroad Leisure , Norwich – Sunday, 14 Apr 2013

Event Summary

Event Overview

After the conclusion of the 5by3MTB race series, it's time for a bit of recreational off roading!

Run along the lines of a traditional 'reliabilty ride' this event offers a choice of three distances on a mix of quiet lanes, bridleways and byways all based on the village of Lyng in the Wensum Valley.

It's about as informal as any event can be. Turn up on any suitable bike - mountain, hybrid or cyclo cross - pay your money and head off into the countryside for a relaxing and thoroughly pleasant ride.

Details of how the routes will be marked can be found on the website. There is just one simple distinction between pre-entry and on the day entry - if you enter online before the event you will receive a GPS route download via e mail, enter on the day and you will get a map.

There will be no technical support and no recovery wagon but ... there will be hot drinks and cake back at event HQ after the ride. These will hopefully be included in the entry cost - if not they will be very cheap!
