fitnaturally

fitnaturally are experts in personal training and nutrition. Their aim is to make you leaner, fitter, healthier and faster.

The company values are built on the foundations of eating delicious, natural foods and using the natural environment for training and exercise.

The outdoors is free, varied and available to all of us and you can get there by simply opening the front door wherever you are! Exercising outdoors is proven to relieve stress and improve mental health and wellbeing. Whether it’s in a local park, leafy woods, a winding country lane or a sandy beach you can guarantee the scenery will be better than it is inside a gym.

Eating natural foods means your body knows exactly what to do with the nourishment you give it, it doesn’t have to filter unnatural chemicals or deal with processed and modified foods, it can do what it evolved to do over thousands of years. Food is natural preventative medicine and fitnaturally prescribes your perfect daily dose.

Every Day in May

Every Day in May is an exciting running event which takes place over the whole of May and involves covering a set distance on foot every single day. Entrants have two distance options, 10k or 5k every day. The total distances run are 192.5 miles and 96.2 miles respectively, that’s approximately seven and a half or three and a half marathons in a month. Sally Pinnegar of event organisers fitnaturally says:

“This is intended to be an achievable challenge, the distances are not difficult in themselves, the challenge is to run them every single day of the month. That takes mental toughness and skilled planning”

Runners can do the distance at whatever time of day and wherever they choose, this makes it a global event. People all over the world can take part but still work as a fundraising team through the 5k Every Day In May 2013 JustGiving Team Page for the event’s chosen charity The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The event starts on Wednesday May 1 2013 at 12:01am and finishes on Friday May 31 at 11:59pm and has an entry fee of £15. The Every Day in May website is HERE.

Go The Distance with fitnaturally will be an extremely tough and challenging cycle event to compliment the running event and to close Every Day in May.
