Event Summary

Event Overview

The Pepenbury 100 is a testing 100km sportive, taking in the quite hilly Weald of Kent & Sussex & cycling through the ancient town of Rye.

There is also a 35km route - again testing.

Both are designed to appeal to both the experienced and the fit and also those who might want to take a little longer. Responses to last year's inaugural Sportive from some pretty serious cyclists has been more than positive, both regarding the route and the organisation.

One rider from Leeds has promised to return - quite a compliment!

The 2013 Event was, again, very well received. Particularly cyclists said how good the signposting was and the volunteers were in the right places. Other comments included just how beautiful the routes were and that the level of challenge was about right for a wide range of abilities, taking in the High Weald of Kent & Sussex as well as the ancient Cinque Ports of Rye & Tenterden. Next year's event will be on 14th September and we hope that many of this year's riders will return and will encourage their friends & colleagues to come as well. We will keep you posted.
