Big wide smooth roads, twisty quiet lanes, steep climbs, flowing descents, fantastic views - This ride has features the perfect sportive mix! Starting from the quiet village of Hawkesbury Upton, the ride takes you through quiet, leafy villages and out onto the Cotswold Edge, where steep, twisting climbs take you through some of the prettiest parts of the country. The landscape delivers picture book imagery at every turn, and a series of stunning views over the meandering Severn Estuary, rising on the far bank to the Forest of Dean. On a clear day you might even see glimpses of the Black Mountains! You even get a choice of finishes on this ride – tackle the 1:5 Kilcott Hill at the end and finish your season on a high!

The Cotswold Edge Sportive has moved to a new, bigger location to meet increased demand! Following a huge increase in demand for this event, we have moved to the Renishaw site near Wooton-Under-Edge to accommodate a bigger field of riders! Big wide smooth roads, twisty quiet lanes, steep climbs, flowing descents, fantastic views - The Cotswold Edge Sportive has it all! Starting in the heart of the countryside, the ride takes you through quiet, leafy villages and out onto the Cotswold Edge, where steep, twisting climbs take you through some of the prettiest parts of the country. The landscape delivers picture book imagery at every turn, and a series of stunning views over the meandering Severn Estuary, rising on the far bank to the Forest of Dean. On a clear day you might even see glimpses of the Black Mountains!
