Event Summary

Event Overview

Welcome to the Bodmin Moor 100 Sportive.  Organised by the Tempus Leisure Events Team we are proud to continue the tradition of offering spectacular yet challenging Cycling Sportives in Cornwall.

The Bodmin Moor 100 has been developed to replace the former North Cornwall ‘Tor’ and retains many of the challenges of the ‘Tor’. We are in no doubt that the challenge will be rewarding for all levels of bike rider.

This event offers three routes that will navigate along the North Cornwall Atlantic coast finishing in Bodmin via Bodmin Moor. Set amongst the most stunning and challenging geographic area in the region, riders will be tested to their limit as they descend and ascend this coastal region.  The Bodmin Moor 100 is a leg breaker similar to the ‘Tor’ and riders should not underestimate the challenge.

The event HQ will be at the luxurious Dragon Leisure Centre in Bodmin where there are excellent facilities including extensive changing rooms, showers and toilets, coffee shop and lounge as well as ample car parking.

Getting to the event is quick and easy.  For those that are travelling from outside of Cornwall we are just 60 miles from Exeter on the A30 and 32 miles from Plymouth on the A38.

The Rider Briefing Manual for this event can also be viewed on http://www.tempusleisure.org.uk/default.aspx?page=776.  Please read the manual as it contains essential information for your ride.

Registration will take place at the Dragon Centre on the day of the event from 6am to 7.30am.

A Safety Briefing will take place at 7.30am.  It is essential that all riders attend

Start Times: The long route riders will start between 8am and 8.10am – mid route 8.10am to 8.20am and short route 8.20 to 8.30am.
