Event Overview

Our sponsored Cyclothon has a route for everyone, from novices to time-conscious club riders. Choose one of the flat circular road routes and ride through beautiful West Yorkshire raising funds for charity.

Checkpoints are situated at regular intervals and indicated with a tick on the route map. Drinking water and toilets will be available at each. Support vehicles and medical support will be available throughout the course.

Register online at www.pwh.org.uk/events by Wednesday 8th May. Please note that entry on the day will incur a surcharge.

If you feel unable to raise sponsorship, we would welcome a donation instead.

Yellow = 30 miles

Orange = 45 miles

Green = 60 miles

  • This event will be run under British Cycling guidelines
  • We strongly recommend that everyone wear a cycling helmet.
  • All under 18s must adhere to this.
  • Observe the Highway Code at all times
  • Offer your help to anyone in distress
  • The Route, Rider Safety, Code of Conduct and Group Riding Safety Guidelines are available to download at www.pwh.org.uk/events

New for 2013!

This year we are changing our start location to Pontefract Park (WF8 4RA‎), where we also hope to host a Breeze cycling event, and a Go-Ride fun cycling event for under-16s. There will also be plenty of food, refreshments and entertainment available on the day, so make the most of it and stay a while!
