The stunning Meon Valley with its green country side and quiet lanes provides the back drop for the 4th edition of Wiggle Mega Meon sportive. The 2012 event attracted 850 riders who enjoyeda coursethat winds it ways through the Meon Valley up to Alton, crossing the South Downs and includes the highest hill on the Downs – Butser Hill.
The Meon Valley during the summer months is one of the finest examples of English patchwork Country side. The route weaves its way through quiet roads with vibrant multicoloured crop fields either side, before heading south and up the final climb. At the summit you will be rewarded with views of the ‘Solent, Spinnaker Tower and the Isle of Wight’, Simply Breathtaking!
With 3 route options (95 miles, 72 miles and 55 miles), you choose the amount of sensational summer riding you can handle.
U16's can enter the events with no charge but must be accompanied by an adult.
