Event Summary

Event Overview

With four scenic routes to choose from this cycle is perfect for everyone from beginners to experienced sportive cyclists. Choose from a 10 mile, 20 mile, 50 mile or 90 mile challenge with all routes starting and finishing at Park House Hotel on the historic Sandringham Estate.

Cycle Together is a fully inclusive event through quiet roads and picturesque villages.  The 10 and 20 mile routes are family friendly and ideal for disabled people who want to take part on handcycles, tandems, trikes or adapted cycles.

Entry is only £15 for the 10/20 mile routes or £20 for the 50/90 mile routes.  It is a day out for all the family with under 16s accompanied by adults going free.

What your entry fee covers:

Fully sign-posted course, food and drink stations, bike mechanic on-site, first aid, free parking, on-course support vehicles and refreshments on-site at start and finish.

Supporting local causes...

Your £15/£20 entry fee includes a small donation to Leonard Cheshire Disability, but we'd love you to raise more through sponsorship if you can. All money raised, unless otherwise specified by the donor, will go to helping disabled guests and their carers enjoy a holiday at Park House, the Leonard Cheshire Disability hotel at Sandringham.

£30 would give four guests a minibus outing to one of Norfolk's tourist attractions; £50 would fund an outing for six guests; and £250 would help finance a week's stay at Park House for just one disabled person who would otherwise not be able to afford this.

£1 of the entry fee will also go to the Lynn News Charity of the Year, Red Wellies

For more information and route maps visit www.lcdisability.org/cycletogether or call 0203 242 0239.

Riders under 18 years of age

There is no lower (or upper!) age limit for any of the rides; however riders under the age of 18 must present a completed and signed Parental Consent Form at registration on the day of the sportive. The parental consent forms will be sent via email to riders once they have entered.

Parents/guardians wishing to claim a free place for a rider under the age of 16 should enter themselves in the event and then, when their paid entry has been accepted, email the organisers (events@lcdisability.org) with details of the young rider – name, address, date of birth and indicating whether they have any medical conditions, are on any medication or have a disability.
