Info for Riders

A team of 30 staff (27 riders and 3 support crew) representing the Leeds and Manchester offices of DTZ are taking part in the ‘Way of the Roses’ Coast to Coast bike ride challenge between the 5th – 7th October 2012. We will start with our back wheel in the Irish Sea at Morecambe Bay on the West Coast of the UK on the Friday morning and cover 178 miles over three days, ending with our front wheel in the North Sea at Bridlington on the East Coast. The team will be raising money for 2 charities, predominantly LandAid and in particular LandAid Day on 11 October 2012; DTZ’s corporate chosen charity and “the property industry charity”, helping young and disadvantaged in the UK to have access to the buildings, skills and opportunities they need to achieve their potential. We will also be raising funds for NWCSH, a children’s charity support group working alongside disadvantaged children and also those with special needs, to provide support and social events for them and their families.
