About the Event

Info for Riders

With over 500 riders taking part last year, The Wiggle Rut is back; this time taking in the Saturday slot on the very last day of British Summertime. They say you can't get more typically English than in these parts with gentle undulations along quiet country lanes that wend their way through exquisitely beautiful countryside. With rolling countryside making the riding inviting, achievable and as challenging as you make it. That's the essence of The Wiggle Rut - get stuck in! Why you must ride 'The Rut'! - With a new date to close British Summer Time, this event has a great mix of rolling hills and fast, flat sections to wind down the sportive season. For the 3rd year running, we're delighted to welcome Wiggle as our primary partner again - the UK's official number 1 online bike retailer. By riding The Wiggle Rut, you are also helping us to raise awareness and create sponsorship opportunities for our 2012 charity partner, Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK are the World's leading cancer charity.
