Info for Riders
The Daily Mirror Great Manchester Cycle is the very first closed-road urban mass participation bike ride taking place on Bank Holiday Monday, 4 June. The multi-distance event will take place on completely closed roads in an otherwise bustling city centre, including a stretch of Manchester’s busiest motorway - the iconic Mancunian way. The event has three distance options, setting off in waves from 08:00 - giving you the option to Get Out and Pedal over 13 miles, Rule the Roads over 26 miles or Test Yourself over 52 miles. Suitable for all ages and abilities, the Great Manchester Cycle is brought to you by the organisers of the Bupa Great Manchester Run, so you can be guaranteed a safe and well organised event. Thanks to the newly announced sponsorship with The Daily Mirror entry in each category now costs £10, instead of £28. Entry for kids over seven is £5 for the Get Out and Pedal route, while under sevens go free.
