Event Overview

Ready, steady, cycle!

The countdown is on for the 2025 Heritage Ride, and we want you to clip on your cleats and join us on 27th September. Whether you take part in the event in Lincolnshire, or virtually from anywhere in the world, every mile you ride and pound you raise helps us to be there for the RAF Family in their hour of need. So please sign up today and take advantage of our early bird sale with 25% off the registration fee with code RAFBFEB.

This year, we want to celebrate your heritage with the Royal Air Force. Are you still serving? Did you serve? Do you know someone who has served? Did you grow up near a Station? Whatever the motivation,  for you to take on this 40 or 100 mile route, we’d love to hear it. So please share it with us, and on your fundraising page with your friends and family. Your heritage today, helps us support the Royal Air Force of tomorrow.

* Please note the registration fee will be £25pp for the in-person event, and £15pp for the virtual event from 1st May 2025.

About the Event

Info for Riders

The Lincolnshire (physical) event

There are two routes, 40 miles and 100 miles which start and finish at RAF Digby and will take in much of the magnificent Lincolnshire countryside while celebrating our RAF heritage. The registration fee is £18.75* and includes an optional cycling top, medal professionally organised event, support from our fundraising team, snacks along the route and a post event complimentary refreshment. We are an independent charity and receive no regular Government funding so we’re asking all riders to try to raise £150. This helps both cover the cost of the event, but more crucially provide support for the RAF Family in their hour of need.
