Event Overview

These Development Centre's are a perfect opportunity to start your journey on the British Cycling Pathway and will be run monthly across the West Midlands region at different tracks.

These sessions will be led by Martin Brown and assisted by coaches from the clubs. This will also give the coaches opportunities to develop their own club sessions.

Coming to these sessions can give you the potential opportunity to progress further along the pathway to the Regional School of Racing if the selection criteria is met. Boys and girls may be split at these sessions (depending on numbers).

Info for Riders

Desired Criteria.

- The Cluster session is designed for 9 - 12 year olds (2025 AGE CATEGORY), male/female riders. These riders will ideally be making finals at regional level and ideally racing nationals. This is an introduction session towards the BC pathway.

- The main Development Centre is for 13-16 year olds (2025 AGE CATEGORY), These riders will ideally be making A finals at regional level and ideally racing nationals. This session is for riders new to the pathway but also CURRENT development centre riders and RSR/NSR riders.
