Speed League: Sprint & Team Pursuit - Round 1

Track League , London – Saturday, 17 May 2025

Event Summary

Event Overview

Back for its 2nd year, each month we’ll be hosting Speed League at Herne Hill Velodrome, a Saturday evening of sprinting and team pursuit racing for all abilities. It's a relaxed, friendly and pressure free environment, welcoming high performance racers and those just starting out.

In Sprinters League riders will compete in a qualifying time trial and 3 other races, providing regular, less serious competition for experienced riders to develop tactics, and for newer riders to try out sprinting events.

Team Pursuit League is for teams of 4 riders: each team rides a qualifying heat, a final, and a bonus event at each round. Riders can enter individually: join an existing team, create a new one, or be matched with other solo riders. This is a great opportunity to race the fastest and most prestigious event in endurance track cycling, and the perfect place for anyone newer to track racing to enjoy an event without the intensity of a big field.
