Event Summary

Event Overview

K20 Cycling Club invites individual cyclists, cycling groups and clubs to take part in our 2025 “Taste of Summer Charity Sportive” on Sunday 1 June.

The event will be on flowing open roads and features as a 'must ride' Sportive for 2025, providing the opportunity of a leisurely ride meandering through the beautiful Kent countryside taking in some of the prettiest villages Kent has to offer; - Marden, Yalding, Goudhurst, Benenden, Rolvenden, Biddenden, Smarden and Headcorn on the shorter 48mile route (1800ft of climbing), whilst the longer more challenging 74mile route (3000ft of climbing) includes Appledore and Tenterden, and also takes in the full length of the Military Road from Rye to Appledore.

By organising the event, K20 Cycling Club is aiming to raise funds for two local charities: Living Memories/Dementia Friendly Community Marden, which helps those living with memory loss, and Marden Scout Group, serving the area’s young people.
